📦 Shipping Information
At Finz & Fragz, we take great care in packaging and shipping all live coral and livestock to ensure safe arrival and healthy condition.
🚚 Shipping Schedule
Orders are typically shipped:
- Monday – Wednesday
- Occasionally Thursday for priority overnight shipments only
We avoid shipping near weekends or holidays to reduce delays and protect livestock.
⏱ Shipping Methods
All live coral and fish orders are shipped via:

UPS Next Day Air
or - FedEx Priority Overnight
Estimated arrival:
- By 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM in most areas
- Rural areas may arrive later
🌡 Weather & Delay Protection
We monitor:
- Extreme heat
- Cold weather
- Major storms
If conditions are unsafe for livestock transit, we may delay shipment to protect your order. Customers will be notified promptly.
🪸 Coral Shipping
All corals are:
- Carefully inspected before shipment
- Professionally packed with insulation
- Shipped in temperature-controlled packaging as needed
Corals are:
- WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get)
unless otherwise stated.
🐠 Fish Shipping
Fish are:
- Observed for health and feeding response prior to shipment
- Packed with oxygen and insulated materials
We strongly recommend acclimating all livestock slowly upon arrival.
📍 Local Pickup (Optional)
Local pickup may be available in Florida by appointment only.
Please contact us before placing your order if you wish to arrange pickup.
📬 Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing the correct shipping address
- Ensuring someone is available to receive the package
Finz & Fragz is not responsible for losses caused by:
- Incorrect addresses
- Missed deliveries
- Packages left outside after delivery
📦 Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.
Typical overnight live shipping:
- Flat rate: $55
depending on box size and destination.
Optional:
- Free overnight shipping on qualifying orders over $300.
❄️ Heat Packs & Cold Packs
Heat or cold packs may be added at no extra charge when necessary based on weather conditions.
📸 DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy
To qualify for our Live Arrival Guarantee:
Customers must:
- Notify us within 2 hours of delivery
- Provide:
- Clear photos of livestock in original unopened bag
- Photos of shipping label and packaging
Failure to provide photos within the required timeframe voids the guarantee.
💳 Refunds & Credits
Approved DOA claims may receive:
- Store credit
- Replacement
- Refund (at our discretion)
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
⚠️ Important Notes
We are not responsible for delays caused by:
- Carrier service interruptions
- Weather events
- Mechanical delays
- Delivery exceptions outside our control
Once livestock is acclimated into your system, long-term survival becomes the responsibility of the customer.
